Speeding Up MATLAB Applications

Seminar Overview

Speeding up MATLAB Applications Graphic

Are you constantly looking to boost your application performance? Are you dealing with problems that are computationally or data intensive? Does the competitive landscape demand that you harness any available compute resource to solve problems in ever shorter time?

Join us for the 2009 Speeding Up MATLAB Applications Tour to learn how you can enhance the performance of your MATLAB applications and take advantage of computing resources from multi-core desktops to large-scale resources such as clusters, grids, and clouds.

Presentation and Live Demonstrations: Parallel Computing with MATLAB. In this introductory talk, you will learn how you can use MathWorks parallel computing tools to tackle your compute-intensive and data-intensive problems using hardware systems available to you. You will see how you can adapt your applications to take advantage of these systems without making significant investments in reprogramming.

Master Class: Speeding Up MATLAB Applications. In this in-depth technical session, you will learn strategies to speed-up your MATLAB applications, including techniques for optimizing your MATLAB code and taking advantage of the latest hardware.

Thank you for your interest in MathWorks Seminars. There are no dates currently scheduled for this Seminar. For more information on our seminars and products contact MathWorks sales or please visit:

Who Should Attend

The sessions require only basic familiarity with MATLAB

  • All MATLAB Simulink® users will find both sessions useful
  • Administrators who are responsible for their organization’s computing environments

Seminar Highlights

Learn how more than 1000 organizations, such as Argonne National Labs, EIM Group, Max Planck Institute, and MIT, are successfully taking advantage of MathWorks parallel computing tools today.  Products highlighted include MATLAB, Parallel Computing Toolbox™, and MATLAB Distributed Computing Server™.
