can any one tell me what are all the parameters that can improve road extraction technique

Tons of people have worked on classification of remote sensing images. Many of them think they have the best method. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to evaluate hundreds of papers and select the best one for you to use, as I'm sure you can understand. We can help with short, specific MATLAB programming questions though. Good luck.

If you definitely need to use neural networks for some reason, if you're lucky, Greg Heath will answer - he's our Neural Net expert. I'm definitely not.

Not sure what your edit was. But don't the papers I referred you to give you your answer? They tell you how to extract roads. Please mark the answer as Accepted or post your image and code if you have syntax problems or other errors.
